Clarity is one of the key factors determining the value of CVD lab-grown diamond jewelry. As lab-grown diamonds have evolved from an “alternative option” to a “mainstream choice” in the jewelry market, the standards for CVD diamond clarity set by consumers and partner jewelry brands have matched—or even surpassed—those for natural diamonds.

It is important to note that not all inclusions in CVD diamonds affect the product’s value. Unlike the formation logic of inclusions in natural diamonds, flaws in CVD diamonds are often directly related to the cultivation process and can be broadly categorized into two types:
l One type consists of “harmless flaws” that do not affect aesthetics or durability, such as tiny graphite needles or isolated bubbles. These flaws have a minimal impact on the diamond’s quality and value.
l The other category consists of “harmful flaws” that directly reduce the jewelry’s value and may even affect the wearing experience. These include cracks that run through the crystal, dense cloud-like inclusions, and large areas of metal inclusions. Such flaws diminish the diamond’s fire and reduce its hardness and stability, making them significant factors in lowering the product’s value.

In terms of source control, the cleanliness of the growth chamber is fundamental; any minute impurities or residual metal particles will be encapsulated during the diamond crystal growth process, forming inclusions that are difficult to remove. Process control focuses on the precise regulation of growth parameters. CVD diamond growth relies on a stable plasma environment; even slight deviations in temperature, pressure, or gas mixture ratios can disrupt crystal growth, resulting in harmful flaws such as cloudiness and cracks.
For partners, jewelry brands, and buyers, “accurately avoiding pitfalls” during the screening process is equally critical. Many in the industry fall into the misconception that “high clarity equals high value,” blindly pursuing VVS-grade or higher clarity while overlooking the location and type of inclusions. In fact, tiny flaws visible to the naked eye at the center of a diamond’s table significantly impact product value far more than flaws located at the edges that are invisible to the naked eye. Furthermore, crack-type flaws, even if minuscule, are more damaging than bubbles of the same size.

Therefore, for CVD diamonds used in core jewelry such as engagement rings, harmful inclusions in the table and crown areas should be avoided. For diamonds used in casual luxury accessories, clarity standards may be appropriately relaxed, but it is essential to ensure that inclusions do not compromise aesthetics or durability. To add an extra layer of assurance during the procurement process, we recommend selecting products accompanied by an IGI certificate or similar documentation, which will detail the diamond’s clarity, the type of inclusions, and their location.

Continuous advancements in CVD cultivation technology have made the supply of “high-clarity, high-value-for-money” diamonds possible, but this does not mean that clarity standards should be relaxed. As industry veterans, we remain committed to providing our partners with a stable supply of high-quality CVD diamonds. We maintain ample inventory of both white and fancy-colored diamonds, mostly ranging from 0.5 to 25 carats. We enable every partner to achieve long-term growth in the jewelry market by relying on our premium products.
Foshan Highlight Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. has been deeply involved in the CVD-grown diamond field for many years. Leveraging its mature core technologies and differentiated process layout, it has achieved full-dimensional coverage of white diamond products. All of the company's white diamond products are pure carbon crystals with a hardness of 10. Their physical and chemical properties are completely consistent with natural white diamonds, placing them firmly in the category of genuine diamonds.
Significant core technological advantages: Relying on a stable and controllable cultivation environment, it can produce high-color diamonds ranging from D to F, with clarity generally reaching VS1 or higher standards. They are virtually flawless to the naked eye, and their fire and brilliance rival top-grade natural white diamonds.
Our product highlights: Standardized grading standards, transparent and controllable selection: Strictly adhering to the international diamond grading system, key parameters such as color (D-J), clarity (SI1-VVS1), cut (EX-VG), and carat weight are clearly marked. Products come with authoritative IGI testing certificates, supporting full traceability and verification.
Green and sustainable development, fulfilling social responsibility: The cultivation process requires no extraction of earth's crustal resources, avoiding the environmental damage caused by natural diamond mining from the source. It is a superior choice that combines aesthetic value with environmental protection.
High cost-performance advantage, breaking down market price barriers: Compared to natural white diamonds, our CVD white diamonds are significantly more competitive in price. Within the same budget, consumers can choose larger carat or higher quality products, helping them easily achieve “real diamond freedom.”

Z-Axis System: The Key to Stable Production of MPCVD Diamonds
Microwave Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition is the mainstream method for producing high-quality diamonds in the industry. When the equipment is running, it first pumps the reaction chamber into a vacuum state to strictly ensure the chamber is fully sealed and airtight. Then, the microwave device releases energy, and special mixed reaction gases are fed into the chamber. Under the action of energy, a stable plasma area is formed. These highly active plasmas provide stable heat and reaction conditi
How to Choose the Right MPCVD Equipment?

CVD Diamond Clarity: How to Avoid Inclusions That Affect Jewelry Value
After selecting a loose diamond, the setting not only determines the diamond’s security but also directly affects its perceived size. With diamonds of the same weight, choosing the right setting design can effortlessly create the surprise of “small carats making a big impact,” saving on your budget while enhancing the diamond’s quality. Among these, pavé and prong settings are the two most classic and effective ways to make a diamond appear larger. Paired with specialized designs that maximize t
